Timex creates watch with fashion brand Carhartt

Watch brand Timex has joined forces with fashion label Carhartt to create the limited edition Acadia watch.

The lightweight design, exclusive for SS17, comes with an Indiglo night-light, 12- and 24-hour time settings and an easy-set Quick Date, as well as a distinct arrowhead second hand. Water-resistant up to a depth of 50m, the Acadia model comes in two custom-labelled, double-layer, slip-through straps in green and black, and the watch ties in closely with Carhartt WIP’s bulletproof Military program.

Timex international brand development and collaborations manager Daniel Crow explained: “We are excited to launch this new collaboration with Carhartt WIP, a brand that has a lot of synergy with Timex both in its heritage and focus on design and quality. The rugged aesthetic of the Acadia was a natural fit for this special Carhartt WIP x Timex collaboration.”

The watch is available in stores, online at carhartt-wip.com and from selected Carhartt WIP retailers from March 3. Recommended retail prices start from £65.
