Allum & Sidaway marks 75th anniversary

Independent retailer Allum & Sidaway marked its 75th anniversary with a store celebration event held at its Ringwood store.

The instore event took place over the weekend (March 10–11) at its High Street store in Ringwood city centre. A special guest goldsmith was available, offering customers a large selection of exclusive gemstone jewellery. In addition, representatives from Ball watches attended the two-day celebration.

The 75th anniversary event also included entertainment from a professional magician as well as discounts on purchases.

The independent retailer, nominated in this year’s UK Jewellery Awards Retailer of the Year (five stores or fewer) category, will be holding events and promotions throughout 2017, comprising 75 surprises to thank and reward its loyal customer base.

The family-run business will conclude its celebrations with an extravaganza event held at Kingston Maurward in Dorchester on July 7.

Established in 1942 by Dennis Allum, the independent business consists of five stores including Shaftesbury, Ringwood, Gillingham, Salisbury and Dorchester.
