New jewellers opens in Worcestershire

A new independent jewellers, Malvern Goldsmiths has opened in Malvern, Worcestershire on Friday, March 10.

The new store, located at Bellevue Terrace was originally a Victorian pharmacy and has retained many of its traditional features such as the display cabinets and drawers. Malvern Goldsmiths is owned by husband and wife team, Rodney and Meihua Randle who also manage Quarter Jewellery in Worcester.

Founder Rodney Randle has over 15 year’s experience in the trade, originally starting as an apprentice at W A Perry in Birmingham.

Rodney told Retail Jeweller; “The reason I decided to open the shop is because I thought it would make an ideal jewellers. I didn’t know much about the location, I saw the shop three years ago. I have since discovered the town has a population of 40,000 people and have been told the position is very good. We had the mayor here on Friday and lots of guests, we even took money in the afternoon!”

Malvern Goldsmiths will offer second-hand and antique gold and diamond jewellery.
